Well, after 14 years of marriage I finally got the wife pulled into the Buick family. Got her to trade her POS Iiisuzzsuzu (I can't say it either ;) ) Axiom in on a new Rainier. Finally we are an all-Buick family, and my garage is in proper order....except for one thing. SHE WANTS TO PARK THE THING IN THE GARAGE AND BOOT MY GN TO THE DRIVEWAY!!!!!!!!!!

Fellas, I thaought this was a new begining for our marriage, but it may be the end....... :D

house yours garage mine

i think you should explain to your wife how hot & valuble "your" buick is compared to "hers". in other words, its a classic musclecar & yours would get stolen way before hers. promise her you'll keep hers "detailed" or buy a car cover, i would do anything to keep the buick in the garage, i hope the GN dont jeopardized the marraige after 14 years.

Well, hers might be worth more right now, but that won't be the case in five years, to be sure. Hell, a guy walked up and offered me 15k for it yesterday.

And why did he see it and decide to walk up and make an offer???? Because it was sitting on the DRIVEWAY!!! LOL!

Hey, if my car is out of the house, so am I. And she knows it! :D

Congrads on the new vehicle. :)

I wouldn't consider a Rainer or anything except the Park Ave or Regal GS a Buick as far as this new stuff is concerned. (I hate Generic Motors aka "GM")

I just look @ them has having a Buick badge slapped on them but I hope it's a good ride for ya. :)

Take one for a ride, and you'll know it's a Buick. It's a V8 with Buick's quiet tuning and suspension. The platform is shared with Chevy and GMC, but the Rainier certainly distinguishes itself otherwise. Nicest SUV I've ever driven.

To bad it's not a Buick engine.. :frown:

No way i'd leave my Buick out in the weather if it's not a driver..
Put the Rainer in the driveway..it's the driver now..

My sister has a Rainier. Kinda funny, growing up my grandparents drove nothing but buicks. My parents always had chevys. Now, 20 years later, I have a GN, my brother has a TSM T-type, sister has a rainier and the parents have a park ave.

The rainier is very nice. She got the v8 so they could tow her husband's boat. It is very quiet and smooth.

The wife has always liked the power and comfort of my Buicks. And she used to tell me that she wished Buck would make and SUV. Well, in 2004, they did. The Rainier (Sorry, the Rendezvous doesn't qualify) Unfortunately she had bought a new Aziom in 2002, and couldn't justify getting rid of it already. She's vertically challenged (4ft 11) and likes riding high in the SUVs. We had a 97 blazer that was a good truck, and I wish we'd kept over the Isuzu, but the Buick blows either of them away, in power, comfort, luxury and quiet style. I think I have a convert on my hands.

My GN's been sitting outside for 3 days now, but I'm making my power play tonight. ;)
