Theft lock (radio's)

Hello i bought a cd player for the wife's bonneville and need to know how to remove the theft lock so i can use the darn thing.
This is the third radio for this car tired of buying a new one because the l.e.d lights go out.

Any information would help.

take it to the dealership the service writer can help you out. was dealing wiht he same thing. there is a code you get by pressing the 3 and 6 buttons then they have to call GM to get a pass code that you enter using the min and hr buttons once you hit that you press the AM/fm button and then the power knob. remember the code cause thats all you have to do after you get the 4 digit code from the dealer
