I have no idea what has caused that but here are more pics of the springs.

One of the two cyliners had a low lobe on the cam.

2 locks out of the retainer...bet the lobes for those 2 vales were one of the ones wiped.

Did the car have a noisey top end?

Only one of the two was wipped out. if you look all the retainers are there just squished badly. I am not sure what has caused this

Well it sucks either way. Coil bind not checked upon top end assembly possibly.
