Thermostat

Does anybody run ahotair with out a thermostat in the summer? If so,how does it run? Thanks.

why

Why would you run without one. I run my car in 120 weather with a 160 stat and a pts radiator and it never goes about 180. I would work on your cooling system before pulling the stat out.

Run your car with a 160 thermostat. The thermostat is in place to allow the coolent to stay in the radiator long enough to be cooled down. If you have the coolent constantly flowing in the system it never allows it enough time to do its job and cool the engine.
