Any performance car is a pita, especially a 30 year old one. But that's half the fun of these cars. There's nothing more satisfying then running a car on the strip or street that's running off MY hard work. Just my 2 cents

Try to hang in there. After 20 or 25 years there will be very little that you won't be able to do with one of these cars. You will get the hang of it after a few problems / breakdowns lol.

When i bought my first one back in 87 i thought i was going to have to become an electronic tech to just work on the electrical side of these cars.

Once you get it running right and keeping it that way it will be a Royal PITA for the other drivers you meet on the street. LOL

I've been lucky for 5 years, but mine is setting me back a couple grand right now. New trans & converter. I knew my time was coming.
