My car was finally running ok. Then I took the cut out off today and it starts to run horrible, like flooding and bogging. I get it in a friends driveway. Now I have a code 45, white smoke pouring out the exhaust with and it smells like gas. Something is dripping from my crossover, it smells like gas which I think it is but the white smoke contradicts that if I am correct. Also oil is coming out of the turbo to header seal. What could be going on??? I don't know how I could have blown a headgasket but could it be possible?? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

sounds like a bad turbo/seal...if it's a headgasket, the smoke will smell sweet,as antifreeze has a smell/taste...or,you are pumping gas into the crankcase, and diluting so much that the oil is going past the rings and seals...too thin.... stuck injector,or maybe running full rich all the time....

check your fuel pressure regulator. i bought one from ATR a while ago and it worked great for about 30 minutes. it was letting fuel go through the vacuum line that leads to the throttle body.

Did you experience the same thing when you had a bad fuel pressure regulator? It might make sense mine seems like it is alot lower than it should be and it is cracked. Let me know, thanks.

I thought that blown turbo seals were blew. It seems like fuel and since it is so much it is just picking up black from inside my exhaust housing to appear like oil, sure smells like gas.

you've got some serious trobleshooting ahead. I'd drain the crankcase, see what's in it and start from there.

OK guys, heres an update. I drained the oil no coolant and the coolant levels are still good. Next was the wires and plugs to do a compression test. One plug was dry and the others had buildup on them. We tried to test the #3 cylinder which was the lone clean plug. It came out as 120 but the whole tip of the tester was drenched in gas. We cranked it without the compression tester and gas was spitting out of the spark plug hole. This is good news so far. It seems like it is only one bad injector that is staying open under any pressure. I am going to get another injector so we can conduct a good compression test. Does this sound like a good place to start? I am just praying it didn't take the headgasket b/c of the injector.

did the oil come out the pan real fast ? like thinned out?...if so,you are flooding real bad...if you can get ahold of a fuel pressure gauge, hook it up,then turn the key to on,but don't crank it...the fuel pressure should go up to about 40-45lbs,and hold there atleast 60 seconds...it will drop off slowly,,,if it drops fast..you have and injector leak,or a pressure regulator prob...

Remove the #3 injector and swap it with any of the other injectors, then run the same test to see if it floods that cylinder.

HOW

Hope it floods that cylinder....
