For starters who in Hollywood keeps giving jobs to vin diesel and Paul walker that should illegal by itself.
Hollywood keeps on destroying bad ass machines, but this time its too much Fast & Furious | Trailer, Videos & Video Clips | In Theaters April 3rd and if they are going to destroy it at least get the sound right, don't give it a POS 70's truck exhaust note. If it was up to me any movie producer, writer, or director that destroys classic muscle would tortured to death in front of their children. who else agrees with me?

For the most part, they're not destroying what you're seeing.

They go out to auctions, and buy dirt cheap base models (regal for example) and they can be painted up and some select parts added and it can be made to look like anything they want (GN, GNX, etc.)

I'm giving myself a $10 bill every time someone links the new F&F movie and is "disturbed" because there's a small block regal in it.

Tomorrow I will buy Microsoft.

Yeah I don't care for all the classic iron they destroy in movies like this either.

I just wish they'd use different clips. I'm tired of seeing the same old one. I can't wait for this movie to come out. I'll be there in my GN. When the first one came out every chump in a Civic wanted a piece of me. This time I'll be charging them to drag their asses down the street.:D

 What?! A GN is in the new Fast & Furious?!?!?!

:D

Seriously, though... Most of the cars these movies "destroy" wouldn't even be considered for purchase unless somone was looking to part it out.

A really good example was when the Dukes Of Hazzard movie came out a few years ago. Many a Dodge fanatic were complaining and raising hell about how many Chargers were getting destroyed. As a person who crawled all over several of the cars used for that flick in person, I assure you they were 100-footers held together with $h!tty paint and rust that happened to look decent on camera. I'd venture a guess the "GN"s used in F&F4 are not far from being in the same condition.

Interesting.......... looks like a ford 9" out back, has rear disc brakes......................................

They're not.

How do you know this Dave? I believe they did use a hot air GN for the hero car in this movie and a cloned Regal for the smash shots.

Just like in the first movie they flipped a 70 Charger.

Sometimes they do take an old rust bucket not long for the world and "doctor" it up with some mud and paint to look good from 20 feet.

That movie that Vin did with the "GTO" in it roused a bunch of Pontiac guys until they found it was a POS with fake parts (soda cans for gauges, etc) and a sbc in it. The total value of that junk was about 3k. I would imagine it is the same for the "GN". I saw the trailer on TV the other night. The hood is fiberglass and is flapping in the wind.

LMFAO!!! Excuse me while I go get a paper towel to clean up the drink I just spit out.

still frame...bump on hood
moving on road with bad actor hanging out the window....no bump on hood:confused:

That's Hollywood! Remember the movie Carrie?? John Travolta's character drove a 67 Chevelle and when he went to swerve around Carrie it magically changed into a Camaro!!!

I dont know if this is still true today or not.But my folks went to disiney land in cal. and it was told to them that in the filming of the dukes of hazzard tv show that dodge was repoping the bodies out. just so that they could just destory the bodies in the stunts. They have some picks some were that shows the bodies lined up and dad says there were at lest 50 or more.
