No way 1200hp in that vid. More like 500hp

And why he would spool it up on the start is beyond me.

If you look, he has some 1/8th mile footage and by looking at the mph in those runs, that'd probably be a mid-high 9 sec car.

1200 hp....hmm...maybe at the flywheel, but no way at the wheels.

Having ridden in legit 1200hp cars, that aint one of them.

Rear tires might have been turning over 120mph, but the car was nowhere near that kind of speed. Not in those vids.

lol..... I highly doubt he was running 1200 hp on the street. It's probably safe to assume that there few vehicles in STREET trim running 1200 rwhp especially with such a small tire and stock T-Type rims. Im pretty sure he probably means 1200 hp to the crank and I doubt thats what he was running that when he made this video. Either way its quite a sweet ride. He is not a member of the board. This is a little info on the car:

ON PUMP GAS CAR HAS RAN 6.510 AT 108 MPH AT 22PSI BOOST AND 22 DEG TIMING A/F 10.8. IT IS 8.0:1 COMPRESSION RATIO USING A LARGE INTERCOOLER AIR INTAKE TEMPS 98-115 DEG I CAN GET AWAY WITH IT. MADE 3.5 INCH DOWN PIPE FOR IT THEN SWITCH TO RACE GAS HAD TO RETUNE CAR FOR RACE GAS AND MORE BOOST 32 PSI.ONLY HAD IT TO THE TRACK TWO TIMES AFTER. IT RAN 1/8 MILE 6.337 AT 114MPH 26 PSI BOOST ON MT DRAG RADIALS SPINING DOWN THE TRACK. HAD TO LIFT THREE TIMES, AT 80 MPH WAS ABLE KEEP IT AT WOT. NEXT YEAR NEW 28 10.5 SLICKS , NEW REAR UPPER ADJ CONTROLE ARMS AND GM 12 BOLT REAR END. HOPING FOR MORE TRACTION.
THE TRANS I BUILT IT MYSELF GM TECH FOR 15 YEARS. UP-GRADES TO TRANS INPUT SHAFT , #2 SHIFT KIT , 9 INCH REAR 12 INCH FT 3 LOCK UP DISK CONVERTER 4000 STALL. CONTROLED BY BIGSTUFF3 FUEL/TRANS.

That is slower than most of the fast TSM guys go.
They make nothing close to 1200HP.
I have been in Chow's car on the street,
this car is cool and I would take it in a heart beat but it is not even close to 1000hp.

We used to tune Nelson's Hernandez's car (the ORIGINAL Cuban Missle) on the street and I have dyno sheets of that car making 976 at the wheels. It was undriveable.. you could roll it up to 70-80MPH, hit it and it would just go nuts and that was with 32x14s on the back. It ran 5.30s in the 1/8th in that trim... so yea.. far cry from what this dude is claiming.

965.. I stand corrected.. that was at like 24 PSI tho.
