Yeah there's a guy down here named Orlando that ran 10.40's @131mph with 55's in his 3550+lb GN and if my memory serves me correct when he checked his DS he was at 110 or maybe even 120% duty cycle!!! You can push them just like you could try and push a single 340 Walbro, but IMO it's better to be safe than sorry...... It's much cheaper to go with bigger injectors than it is to fix a blown HG or worse rebuild your motor!

Lee Howie reccomended that I use 55's with my T-63 maybe there are other reasons he and Red have that opinion.Or maybe you know more than they do!!

Lee and Red probably told you to use 55's with the 63 cause the 55's seem to have better street manners than the 72's especially when using Red's chips....... Also, depending on how high you turn the wick up and how fast you want to go 55's would work fine for you with the 63 (55's work well on a full weight car into the high to mid 10 second range with a double pumper)...... The bottom line is it's better to have a little more injector than you need rather than not having enough (kinda like a safety cushion)!

55 lb inj's (never used the 57's)are "SAFE" into the high -mid 10's ,120-128 mph in a 3600 lb car ,there is still room left and you will have a cushion .
Not sure why you would need a larger inj. I mean how much cushion is enough ?Enough not to blow the mtr up I would say .
009's will push a 3600 lb GN safely to 10.9 -11.0's ,55's will push the same car to low 10's so you still have a cushion at mid 10's

We (Tulsa Buicks) have proved this to be true with out any engine damage (1000 passes ) HTH's
