Thoughts on turbo?

I would like some educated member thoughts on the TA/PT51 turbo?

I rode in my buddy's gn the other day, and got to drive it some myself...he has a pt51, dutt neck, small roller cam, ported heads, alky, and a 3200 stall...stock DP :redface:

that car pulled like hell, it scared me the first time it spooled up, seemed very strong to me. this was before I bought my GN, but as I told him, his GN felt as strong as my LT1 with AFR heads, big blower cam, and a Vortech @ 8psi

One of my cars made 423rwhp and ran mid 11's easily with one and a F/M! They had a bad reputation for the wheels going bad but I know of several that have been around for years. I like that little turbo personally:smile:

I like this turbo it's a good turbo for an unopened motor times in sig were done with this turbo
