I have inner and outter tie rods ends from the front end rebuild kit from "Gbodyparts.com". I got tired of waiting for the heavy duty tie rod adjuster sleeves (been over 2 months since ordered) so I order them from another place. I used "1980 g-body" as the application for the sleeves. The sleeves fit the old factory tie rods, but not the new tie rods from "gbodyparts.com" which are bigger (beefer tie rods then stock?).
The old ones measure out to 5/8 - 18 ( I used a pitch gauge and a die).
Not sure what the new one is, don't have a die for that. The pitch is the same. So my question is, could this thread size be 11/16 or a metric size?
