Time Out Error on GEN 6

Tried to make changes on my DFI Gen 6.Kept getting the TIME OUT ERROR.Turned everything off and tried over and over.Same thing.I checked the port on the computer is com1.How do I check what calmap is using?Any other options?Advice?Very frustrated with this DFI stuff.Thanks Tony

Heres the scoup. Dfi should only be run in MS dos, do not try and run it from windows , with a shortcut becuase it will eventually corrupt your progam. SO boot the computer to the dos prompt then type cd\calmap enter calmap.exe enter.

The port it uses is com1 and the resources must say 03F8-03FF
and interupt request 04 for com 1.

from windows go to my computer, right click properties, device manager, com ports, com 1, resources.


if it goes goofy try unplugging the orange wire at the battery like the factory ecm and replug it in also
