Since tonight was my maiden voyage down the street with my car, I thought that it's finally time to share my restoration project. It's taken about 4 years since I bought the car, but really I bet I can only add up about 3-4 months worth of serious work on it. Bought this car 4 years ago along with a 10sec WH1 for it's drive train.
Just check out the pictures...
Thanks to the following
Mike and Pat Hogan for their local support (and parts)
Long time friends who helped to lend a hand while in town visiting.
My fiancee Stacie who has now done everything from installing a crankshaft to helping to install suspension parts.
Duke Paint and Body in Forth Worth Texas
Extreme Automatics for one awesome stage 2 transmission and V1 intercooler
Cal Hartline to help me get me through some drivability problems with the fast system - first I've tuned from scratch.

Nice looking car, I know you have a lot of work in it. Really like those seats! Time to drive and enjoy it now!

That looks great, my junk looks more like the before than after!

Came out nice! I did not see those seats when I was there, seats look nice!

Great job!! Looks nice John!
Nice to see someone restore instead of part out for a change. Well done!

Paint was done by Bill Duke in Fort Worth - he's a tuner for many fast cars in DFW and had a 8 sec GN back in the day. I sanded the car to bare metal myself, then brought it to him. Basically bought a compressor for the labor in sanding it down.
