timing cover modifications

Does anyone have any information on modifiying the front timing cover? I have a modified stock cover which has enlarged passages which help increase oil flow to the bearings and help reduce high oil pressures during startup. A local speed shop did the work and it has performed flawlessly on the car. However he is not in the business to share his secrets. It would be great to have that information when it comes time to do another timing chain. TIA

This is no great secret, learned this back when dealing with Buick V-8's. It has been published in a couple different different places. There is too much detail for me to post here, but will look for where my books are and let you know.

As one of their items for years, TA Performance sells modified covers for V-8 and V-6 applications.
