After considerable time searching with no answers, I want to know which cylinder is at firing position when cam gear dot is at 6o'clock and crank gear dot is at 12 o'clock. Thanks

Thanks guys. Some engines set up 180* out at this location .This is my first 3.8. I've got entire front disassembled chasing an oil leak.Putting on a lot of new parts while its easy to get to and this will make cam sensor reinstall a lot easier.

The reason for the 180 degrees out thing is it's not on the compression stroke. Just because the piston is up in that cylinder doesn't mean it's on compression stroke.
