Timing Question

Well since my ECM took a dump on me it will have to be sent back to get repaired by Bob Baily. While doing so, my Max Effort-R chip will be getting some timing put into it. The time in my sig is when the car was running only 24 degrees of timing through 1st and 22 through the remainder of the run.

I plan on now having 28 Degrees of timing through 1st and 26 through the remainder of the run.

Question is, will this be to much? I plan on taking it easy and running only 22-23 pnds of boost to start off with.
