I heard gasoline and a match if its a Buick :p:eek::biggrin:

All joking aside I used some tint remover stuff in a bottle one time and a razor blade to help peel it as I pulled. Only took about an hour to do the entire car.

Off to google...

Leave the tint on that wagon looks better! :D Oh that's right you old guys can't see at night! :p

Heat gun, razor blades, once it starts it should keep coming off. Then WD40 on gum out on a rag will get the glue off.

ok did the 2 front doors in 40 min.. wasn't bad.. I really like the tint but it was bubbling an pealing off the rear window.. PLUS I don't need cops hassling me !! Ya age doesn't mean anything to them as far as "tint" .. other "infractions" they cut old guys a lot of slack :p
..... Ty Ill go read that in the morning.. Old people have to be in bed by 8pm so they can get up @ 4am :biggrin:
.. wagon is being "updated" with some new junk

come on !! that link just takes ya to "fishing" sites to sell ya stuff  Somebody here has to have some info on how to do this... hmmmmm... come to think of it Buicks guys don't know anything.. They just buy all the "cool guy parts" :p:biggrin:

Really? Worked for me.

scroll down moses, step by step instructions with a video to watch:biggrin:

hahaha.. just ran out the bedroom at the nursing home so I could watch that  Guess old people that have "been there an done it" could figure it out. I am a home builder by trade.. We did everything that had to do with house building and remodeling. My father was a "hands on guy" that could do anything. I prob only learned 1/2 what he taught me (old age brain cells die off QUICK.. especially at my age) . Did Formica counter tops for years. To clean the glue we used ******.. Tried it and of course it worked great !! ok back to the "house"

Your a hoot, just waiting for the Viagra to kick in huh:biggrin:

You know how to get that **** off now go do it.

ya Ill do the 2 rear doors this morning. The rear glass Ill take to a shop OR maybe just buy another glass. Have to go to work @ 12 :mad:

garbage bag and amonia. Spray ammonia on the window. Put garbage bag on top of window (it will adhere a bit) let it sit for a couple hour sin the sun. Remove bag and peel gently... This is what the tint shops do.

Another way is to put some aircraft paint remover on a rag and wipe it on. Let it sit for a while and it will almost fall off. Then all you need to do is deal with the residue.

sounds to messy for me

You can put tape around the trim and just wipe it on Dan. Then just leave it to do the job. Not very messy at all. Well maybe for an old man it is.

yup... I can turn a simple thing into a project really fast :p
