Tire size - 26" or 27" - what do I need?

Getting ready to buy a set of drag radials but not sure if I should go with 26" or 27" tall tires. What are the pro's and con's or does it even matter with my car's setup now? Please see my sig. for mods. Thank for the help!

the taller the tire the more it "rolls out" and more sidewall takes the "hit" better.the 27 mt street radial also fits nice on the stock gn wheels.

On a mildly modded car I think a 27 would be a good compromise. 255/60 or something isn't it?

Well, i went from 105 mph with 26" 235/60/15 to 112 mph with 27" 255/60/15 MT tires

The MT 255/60/15 is actually what I was looking at - just wasn't sure what difference the inch would really make - good or bad.
