i agree with you don't want to go to tall you end up killing the car down low but looks killer on the car for sure. I think i want to put 225/60 front and 245/60 in the back. Now with a 245/60 in the back they won't hang out the wheel lip will they ? this is what i want to avoid.

Mine clear my lip, they will rub up top (not a lot). They do look nice, but I would go with 235/60 all the way around. At least up front. By going with 245's you are only getting .4" in width over a 235.

I have the same set-up as GullsGn. 235/60/15 up front and 255/60/15 on back, Goodyear Eagle GTII's all the way around. It looks awesome.

I have 215/65-15 up front and 255/60-15 on the rear. Plenty of room, no rubbing:

As of right now I am running a 295/50 but I am needing new tires soon and will probly go with 275/60. Always liked how the 275's look on these cars.
Wish they would make a 295/55 street tire. The m/t et street radials are nice but i'm 99% street car.

That stance looks nice, are those the 295/50s? Same size on all fours? any rubbing?

hello people; The stance, the look, how about the handling? But if the drag race look is what you want and you just want to go straight that's it. But what happens when have to take a turn? No way it's going to be a good thing. If that's what you want go for it and I know someone is going to say it's not bad. I suppose it's a give and take thing.
Have fun.

275/50

I have 275/50 on the rear. It looks good and does not rub. This is the only pic I have with me now but I can dig up some more later.

only 295/50's on rear. front are 235/60.
right rear rubs if I have a passenger in the right rear back seat and back out of a drive way. No back seat passenger= no rubbing:smile: Never had any rubbing over speed bumps either.

wow i didn't kno i would be able to fit a 295 on the back... it does look good how tall does 295/50 = ? and a how does it take turns at faster speeds with the bigger tires? but great looking cars guy keep them comming.

I think it sits a bit high in the back, so I am going to go with either 235's all around, or 245's in the back next time.

No I don't care for it but I have not taken the time to get it off. I did not know it would just peel off, I will have to give it a shot. thanks.

Yup, I just used a little screwdriver and peeled up a spot and pulled. Had it clean in about 30 seconds.

295/50 is 27'' tall. I'm not a road racer so I couldn't tell you how it handles corners at high speed.
