To anyone who has had a leaking wastegate

This concerns a production type wastegate. My friend says he can hear a flutting noise at 20 plus pounds of boost. Can hear it inside the car. Has anyone who has had a wastegate not sealing heard this, or any ideas? Thanks

I've never heard this,but I'll take a shot.
Sounds like the exhaust pulses are making the spring in the actuator resonate at that boost level.Maybe it's time for a high boost actuator?

Boost flutter was a condition with ATR downpipes. Could be related since the puck arms would bind on them.
