Ok, I have a pretty much stock 86 t-type. I have an eastern performance front mount ic, 83lb injectors, tt chip, running 100% e85, walbro 340 hot wired, stock turbo at 20lbs boost. Stock trans and converter and stock down pipe with hi flow cat. I have vacuum brakes and couldn't hold more than 2 or 3 lbs of boost at the line with street tires. I ran 3 times. 13.65, 13.54, and 13.40 ets. All at 99 mph.

Is that pretty much in line for my mods? I know I still need a powerlogger to see what is going on, but it was a free spectactor drag at Byron and I was itching to see how it would run. My best 60 ft was 2.28, so slicks and finding a way to hold more boost at the line will be one of my next priorities(after a powerlogger).

All of the passes were back to back also.
 
x2 you should be low 12's. Get slicks u could probablly get to 12.6 or so by knocking 60' down and some more boost or better tune even lower.

That is what I thought. I just couldn't hold any boost at the line. It was really more like 1 or 2 pounds before the car started inching forward. Damn vacuum brakes.
 
Get a hydroboost and hold the baby on the line! Slicks and a healthy posi will do wonders for e.t.

Not bad, you have some left on the table so that's good right?

I'd start with a Transbrake, a set of MT 275/60's with a Test Pipe and you're in business. From here you'll have to decide if you want to go lower than low 12's. :cool:

Tried the hydroboost and the damn power steering pump whined like a police siren when turning. I tried 2 different pumps and one was a reman. I just might try it again though. I was able to hold like 9lbs and it stopped like now, when you just touched the pedal!:biggrin:
