Torque Convertor needed.

I am looking to buy a new Convertor for my buick, Let me explain my setup and maybe one of you can give me advice. I have a 72 Buick GS with a 400+ HP buick 350. I will be running a 200 4r (low milage original with Shift kit. and 390 gears. I am wanting a 2500 lock up convertor. What convertor and by whom would ya'll recommend. Also I know this is in the texas area forum but I am most familiar with you guys that is why I posted this here. thanks!

I'd say a stock D5 would work fine.

I have an Orange Stripe converter from my regal. I think it is either 2700 or 2800 stall.

Would that work for you Phil? I can cut ya a deal on that and the ps pump.
