intake is in sequence , install all bolts loose ,
i like to align the intake runners on the 86-87 manifold
snug down centers gradually alternating back and forth from side to side to 25lb/ft
then follow sequence bring the rest to 25lbft , then start at center again and bring them to 30lbft
rockers are not adjustable on buick stock shaft rockers , if stock its just gets torqued gradually to 25lbft
(rotate engine until tips of prods are as even as can be on that side of motor
install shaft and tighten gradually taking turns at each bolt to 25lbft, do same for other side rotate crank for even push rods first
if many changes from stock always best to measure to get the proper pushrods with an adjustable pushrod tool by adjusting to zero play and then adding .050 for preload ..
this needs to be done even if you have adjustable shaft rockers like harland or T+D , and even on GN1 aluminum heads with chevy stud style Scorpion rockers ... you need follow rocker manufacturers instructs

the preload you get with 1/4 turn depends on the rocker , shaft style 1/4 turn at the adjuster above the pushrod is not the same preload as a stud rocker like the scorpion
once you know how much 1/4 turn adds to the preload then it depends on the lifter, limited travel require very little preload .003-005 , standard roller lifters and most flat tappet like around .050 to. 075

Thanks that seemed a little too simple lol. Looks like a guy could use a dial caliper from the rocker to the adjuster and be fairly accurate. Hopefully the rockers are stamped or etched so I can get some info. Nice TTA in your pic. I've wanted one of those since high school.
