Are the ratcheting torque straps the only option on the GN. I had a turnbuckle style strap on both my TTAs many years ago. Do they make something like this for the GN?

I second that, get the HR mounts and loose the strap. My strap was only a conversation piece, it would come loose under heavy acceleration.

Try a search... This was recently discussed.

Forget the fact that the straps are in incredible eye sore!! They really aren't all the effective, especially when they break and get tangled in your accessory belt!!

Get the HRPARTS moptor mounts and be done with it.

Recently discovered mine was cutting into my power steering line. I'm looking into going with the RJC bracket that bolts onto the passenger side of the transmission.

I used to have stock motor mounts and the RJC bracket. Bent the hell out of the bracket on a pass and decided to go with the HR parts mounts.

I added the mounts as well as the RJC brace. I did not care to have all the torque pulling on the side of the engine block without a little help. The brace assures that the stress load is divided between the two. For the $$$...its worth it.

Yes, I was referring to the HR PartsnStuff Motor mounts. Coach, I'm not following you on the division of the stress load. Do you mean between the motor mounts and the RJC bracket? The RJC bracket seems to me to be a way to brace the engine torque against the frame. As the engine tries to rotate, the stop on the bracket at the frame takes the load.
