i just repaired my cracked header, is it true that the torque strap can contribute to the header on the drivers side cracking?

I have been wondering about the strap too just my question is can it screw around with crank sensor adjustment and my drivers side header has been fixed twice without the strap. Hmmm I might put back on just for grins.

+1 I used to run a torque strap for years with no problems by now with the H&R mounts, the engine compartment looks much cleaner.

yeah i will get h&r mounts too when i get motor done, for now i guess i will keep the strap.
