I was telling someone the other day how windows 7 was giving me fits. They said they were using a Panasonic Toughbook with XP just fine. I had a toughbook before, and may be the only person the ever have broken one.
So, I got to looking and found some at a decent price. The problem is that when they are taken out of cop cars the har drive is generally removed. these have a 30gig (which is enough for car tuning) hard drive, 1.0ghz, i think they are touch sreen. decent condition used toughbooks.
The guy has about a half dozen of them , i bought 2 for myself.
looking to get $250.00 each for them. they do not have a power cord or an operating system.
if anyone wants one, let me know. i'll pick it up and bring it to renyolds.
these are the cf-28 military laptops with a floppy drive and a 30 gig hard drive , built in modem and lan, serial port and 1 usb port.
i'll post a picture later, trying to get 2000 put on mine now.
