i am trying to set mt tps when i hook up tht volt meter red to the top gray wire and black lead to the middle (blue)wire with ign on motor off my volts are high like 4.8 or so i can not adjust it no lower then 3.9 volts the funny thing is if you depress the throttle the volts go down to under 1 volt?????? i also tried a new tps sensor and the same thing happens by the way the motor idles real high any sugestions please .

Sam, sounds to me like you may have mixed up you voltmeter connects, Check out gnttype.org for proper procedure. I know the black wire off the voltmeter needs to be grounded to battery and pos to the blue wire, you should be able to get it done!, Good luck,

Glad it worked for you Sam, I bet you noticed a nice improvement once dialed in! Hope all else is good!! Did you check your IAC adjustments too???
