tps test

i know the procedure on adjusting tps what i cant figure out is how to use the volt meter to check volts how do i make contact with the blue middle wire if its all covered up ? i dont see where i would stick the positive probe in the tps as its all protected?

You have to use a needle

You have to use a needle and puncture the wire and then touch your voltmeter to the needle. Dont need to stab all the way through it, but just enough to get through the insulation.

You can also use a scan tool and the read the tps reading with the scan tool while its hooked up if you have one or can borrow one.
