TR prices lately

5 years ago the NADA value was $16k. today its $25k. id say in 5 yrs it will be close to $30k.

You can ask any car guy to name a fast car from the 80s and I'm sure they will say either a gnx or a GN not a camaro, TA, or mustang. They are the most recognized/collectible cars from that era. And I agree they are attributed to being the first muscle cars since the end of them in the early 70s. I go to a bunch of car shows and auctions and you always see a ton of camaros and vettes but you hardly ever see turbobuicks at the shows.

That's hilarious because a notchback 5 spd mustang will run 13s. It's only fast if it's done in a black car though.

Late 70s trans ams are slow as molasses. THe price of those are going up to. Last I checked no one is buying those cars for the power.

Lol I'm not arguing with you anymore dude, the prices being paid for TRs speak for themselves as compared to any other 80s car so it would seem the majority of the collector car market agrees with the rest of us. I'm sorry if your feelings are hurt because your camaros don't get the recognition, maybe you should take that up with Chevy as to why they built a bland product for 10yrs?

And to your point about the TAs really only the 77 and the 455 TAs are starting to come on for obvious reasons. And some of the early 70s camaros are too. Maybe you should try watching a couple of mecum auctions and/or barrett jackson that's coming up?

Sounds like you've been watching too many of them. I'd buy a mediocre 80s chevy product before I pay mid teens for a mid 70s disco trans am or 40k for a GN
