TR6 and 2 step issue

Try to have it set up to work on this foot switch and its not working like it's supposed to. I have read the directions a few times and still missing something I guess. It's only 2 wires I need to connect and turn conf 1 to on but something isn't right. Nothing is happening when triggered. Any ideas?

turn on Mode 6 and Config 3, then the 2-step will trigger when the orange wire is grounded.

mode 4 is wastespark, leave it on if running the coilpack

Config 4 can be turned off, you are not using it.

Still limiting rpm when switch is not activated. Not sure what is going on?

Tried it like this then turned 6 on and still limiting rpm while in drive. Set everything back to as if I wasn't going to use the 2step and it run fine.
