My car is basically stock (93red chip, 8' K&N ,scan 2.1, test pipe,100# valve springs, walbro pump) and I was curious about what octane gas I should use, meaning race gas I always use 93 on the street. But should I bump up the octane for the track , detonation isnt an issue.
PS What kind of times should I expect??? I'm figuring mid to high 13's on street tires not dr's

I would run 100 oct. to be on the safe side. But thats me. Should be able
to get low 13's @ 105-107 if temps & track conditions are favorable.

Run as low as octane as you can without knocking. The higher the octane the slower it burns so your car will in turn be slower.
