Looking for Car Trailer…..tandem axle, do not prefer wood deck but will consider…..will drive up to 8 hours… my location Detroit.

.i buY and sell on craigslist all the time!i bought 1 of my car lifts on there bought 4 or 5 cars off there. bought wheels bought all kinds of other parts off there! i even found a job on there 2 years ago! and the best part is it's all FREE!!! SOLD TONS OF STUFF ON THERE TOO!

How high are those fenders above the deck, do your doors open above them?

The fenders are 12" above the deck ....and no the doors will not clear the fenders....I have a switch in the trunk to open and close the window... and that is how I get in.....I had to do this when I borrowed my brothers trailer many yeas ago...it works for me but I am 5,5" 150lbs....

Trailer Issues

Well I had a problem using the 48 inch ramps and putting the car on the trailer……the angle was not correct for loading the car without hitting the lower air dam….so I decided to modify the trailer and turn it into a dovetail trailer….I cut the frame and bent it lower, I had to cut the light brackets and reposition them so they would not point to the ground…I can now put the car on the trailer without hitting the air dam…..life is good. See the before and after pictures attached.
