I took the GN out this weekend to Vermont with the Game plan of going to Muslepalooza on Sunday @ LVD.
But on the way up to Vermont, The Car would not shift into OD unless I placed it into neutral and than back to OD (at speed). Then it would work until I stopped and restarted. (Shifting late in to all the other gears).
So when I got to Vermont. I readjusted the TV cable. It was on the tight side. And after the adjustment, it seemed to work fine. The fluid looks good and doesn’t smell burnt. Shift though all the gears, converter locked up.
Before this I went against the T-Brake and discovered it stalls @ 3400 RPM @ 13# of boost. I did let it idle before I shut the engine off to allow the tranny to cool.
Any thoughts? Am I over looking some thing?
Never did make to Muslepalooza, When I checked the weather Saturday night, They where called for an 80% change of rain. And when I checked Sunday morning there where showers in the area. So I did not go. But I called later and they said they where running because the weather went north and south of them. So being two hours away, I would not have got there in time to get any runs in.
Sometime this year I might get to the track.
