Tranny Cooler

I'm looking to replace my transmission cooler. What are you low 9 second guys running. What is the best tranny cooler to use ?

I'm looking to use a stand alone cooler ( not through the rad ) with -6 teflon lined braided steel lines from the TH400.

Am I on the track ? no pun intended

Yes you are on track

Use anykind of a stackplate design cooler. You will be just fine.
You also may want to run an in line screw on filter in case you have a tranny issue and it will not contaminate the cooler. Saves you a cooler for a 15.00 filter.

Bruce, thanks for the quick reply. I've been looking at your "Extreme Cooler" with the filter assembly. Does the cooler come with mounting brackets ?

Is it a bolt in for a GN. Will there be a lot of fabricaion involved.

My car will see mainly track use. Will I be OK without using the integral rad cooler ?

I believe I'm running one of your T400's as I got it through Cal Hartline
