Tranny cost

Hi guys. A buddy of mine (with a Camaro) wants to go 10s with a 700R4. I'm trying to tell him the 200/4R is better. He wants to know how much a stout one would cost plus a transbrake and a Vigilante 4000RPM non-lockup single disk converter. Any estimates or advice?
