Tranny Filter O Rings?

I messed up! I changed the tranny filter and neglected to pull the old o-ring out! To make things worse, I put the new o-ring in there. I just pulled the pan and filter and it had two of the thick o-rings in there. Did I screw the tranny up bad? And before I put it back together, what o-ring should I use now, the thick one or the thin one?

I personally use the ribbed (for someone's pleasure) orange seals. They grip better than the rubber O-ring. Never had a filter fall out with the orange seals vs the O-rings.

my shift kit came with both so I used both of them,seemed to hold up fine
