tranny filter

Hi All
A long story, but the bottom line I did some work on my tranny. when I put the new filter
on I think I left the old filter seals in. The tranny is working ok for the most part. Shifts
a little ratical at normal start off, but not always. What could happen if I left two gaskets
in? Should I take one of the seals out?

hi,

If the pump sucks air, it will cavitate. I would pull the pan, and make sure you have 1 o-ring. It's orange, about 3/16 tall.
