Ok. Here's the deal. I had the mains go out on my car. It took me a while to diagnose it as it started out as an intermittant flutter when I transitioned on and off the gas that you could barely hear. I'm putting in a new engine this weekend. My question is this. Could the crank wobbling have done damage to my tranny that would in turn damage my new engine? And if so is there anyway to check for it before I put my new engine in? I was just going to grab the input shaft and see if it had any play in it but I figured I'd ask someone smarter than me instead. TIA for any help. james
