tranny id

can anyone help me with a tranny id. I pulled it from my car - but - unfortunately - most of the stuff the car that it was suppose to have - it doesnt.
so now - after building a ford 9" posi rear for it(it was suppose to have the g80 posi rearend) I am pullin the tranny to freshin it up. the tag on the tailshaft housing is as follows:
BQ
139-2T84BQ1461

there are two stickers on the bellhousing. they are as follows:

1st one - 4BQr
2nd - T61R 420

can anyone tell me if this is the right tranny for my car(87 gn). or if its not - will it work or should I find another tranny.

I believe that tranny is for an 84 or 85 turbobuick not an 86 or 87 that should be brf code.
