Tranny oil

Well I posted in the general tech but did not get many results.

Well its time for me to do a tranny oil change, acutally if I think about it I nevered changed out the tranny fluid yet after I bought mg GN and had the tranny rebuilt about 2-3 years, but put less than 2000 miles on the new trans. It nevered seen synthetic, i'm deciding on should I go with the synthetic Redline or Amsoil brands? And would I watch out for certain trans filters? I had been using fram trans filters for all my other cars.

Do a search on Mobil Fluid. That was what Bruce at Performance was using for a while. Now he uses something else but is essentially the same. Hydraulic tractor fluid.

Yep, Mobilfluid 424 or Nemco TGH, same stuff. I am using it in my rebuilt tranny, and the shifts are positive and firm.
Supposed to handle heat/breakdown better than Type F or Type III.
