Tranny Serviced on 11/19/2010 now Problems

Just had my filter and fluid changed last friday and today i went to pass a car the tranny kicked down a gear and then just flashed and no more tranny

I live in central Florida,and im looking for a Tranny shop that know's these car's...

Any suggestions who to take my tranny to?

I bet they didnt remove the old orange rubber lip seal and the filter popped out. Drop the pan and check it. ----Jeremy

I sure hope its that easy...
Its on a lift now and in the morning they will drop the pan and inspect.

Tranny

So we dropped the pan and yes the original orange lip seal is up in there,however the filter was up in place not in laying in the pan...

Any suggestions? There was some glitter<alluminum> in the pan besides that it looked good....

I'm wondering if you snapped your input shaft? Is there absolutely no tranny at all in any gear? If not, check the input shaft. You have to take the converter out to do so. I have a feeling something snapped.

The tech actually drove the car in,its weird...

When you put the car in gear D or R it actually feels normal,you can feel it sort of go into the gear,but once you try to move the rpm's go way up to move an inch...

If the car moved, it's not a snapped input shaft.


Check your line pressure.

Stator Support splines are gone/stripped. That looks like a Non-Hardened Stator. Hardened ones are Black in between splines.
