I am locking my CK 9x11 3600 up at the line so it locks up in 2nd. I have ran with and without it locked and I picked up .2 in the 1/8 mile. The converter has about 2500 miles on it and maybe 10 passes.
Either the tranny, converter lockup or both is weak. Can you advise?
12.07 pass
1-2 shift 5250. Dropped to 4750. Difference of 500 RPM.
2-3 shift 5275. Dropped to 4200. Difference of 1075 RPM.
12.15 pass
1-2 shift 5200. Dropped to 4775. Difference of 425.
2-3 shift 5175. Dropped to 4200. Difference of 975.
12.22 pass
1-2 shift 5650. Dropped to 4475. Difference of 1175.
2-3 shift 5500. Dropped to 4175. Difference of 1325.
12.23 pass
1-2 shift 5200. Dropped to 4450. Difference of 750
2-3 shift 5000. Dropped to 3775. Difference of 1225.
Viewing in DS, it's no longer a "saw tooth" pattern on the shifts. What are ya'll thoughts?
I can no longer do WOT passes because it shifts and the shift light stays on because the RPM's never drop.
I haven't check it lately without locking up the converter.
