sorry im new but i did a search and dident come up with anything but i have a transam an id like to take the 16in honeycome rims i guess like gnx style i know they woulent fit stock they hardly fit on the transam but is there any way to make them fit farly cost effectivly?

Put the front Trans am wheels on the rear of your Buick and the rear Trans am wheels on the front of your Buick. On the front rims use a 5/16 spacer. This is what worked for me. Also in the search enter gta rims or gnx rims. This should come up with alot of information.

The ideal solution is to use 4 fronts. This would allow you to bolt them on with no spacers. If you can't score those, then the method already described is what works.

When you put the GTA rears on the front of a TR, dont you need to get special lugnuts and machine down some of the lugnut holes to allow the lugnuts to grab more threads?

other than that, they look correct on the car when done

So if you use 4 fronts. What will it take to get the closest to the the correct GNX backspacing?

I'm figuring 1/2" spacer in back and something slightly smaller in front?

With four GTA front wheels spacers may not be as much of an issue unless you have GNX flares. Some aftermarket GNX flares can look kind of awkward without wheelspacers or more offset on GTA wheels, I used spacers just to make the GTA wheels fill the flares a little better,I had no rubbing without spacers,I just didn't like the way the flares looked with that offset. If you don't have GNX flares then you may not need spacers.
Here is a crappy pic. I took that shows my car with 4 GTA fronts with 5/16" spacers on front and 1 1/4" billet spacers on back.I got the 1 1/4"billet spacers from www.wheeladapters.comThe pics in my signature are old and show my car with 5/16" spacers on front and back.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes I have the flares and I plan on installing them. They are fiberglass and are pretty damn close to the originals that I have seen.

Still looking for the the answer on what parts needed on correct backspacing for GNX when using 4 fronts.

My understanding is that the stock GNX wheels has 3.6" inches front and 3.5" inches in back for backspacing.

I have to assume that the 1 1/4" wheel adapters would push the rear wheels out too much. The 5/16" adapters in the front are probably close to what they need to be.

Send me a better picture if you have one of the side of the car from like the back or front. :D

Hey if it looks good then I'll use them....

I'll try to get you a pic tomorrow. The batteries crapped out in my digital camera and I gotta leave for work pretty soon.:(
