My tranny has almost 100,000 miles on it. I plan to start making more power and I'm thinking of changing out the stock converter. Would it be nuts to not rebuild the tranny at the same time? vs changing the converter and let'r buck? Also on a scale of 1 to 10, what's a DIY tranny rebuild. Some posts show people having trouble...
Thanks

You'd be back to the trans shop if you put a performance converter in that tranny.

Billet forward drum should be on the list for piece of mind. ;)

You can rebuild it yourself with some common sense ,patience, common hand tools,1 specialty tool and my 200 page manual. You also have access to phone and email technical assistance with us.This way you wont have to pay for shipping either.www.CKPerformance.com
