I have a used trans, was told it was stock from an unbeat car and a rebuilt D5, the trans shifts nice everything is as good as it can be right now. However, in OD starts around 45 to about 55, the trans feels like it's pulsing? At 65 it's fine and if I take it out of OD it's fine. Any idea what the problem is? As far as I know this trans is stock.

Thanks

Rich, Try and contact "BRIAN" here on the board. He is great with tranny's and he is pretty close to you. Maybe he will chime in and help you out.

Thanks Scot, I'm planing on rebuilding it this winter and beefing it up a bit anyhow. But I'd hate to not address the problem, put it back in and it's still there next year:rolleyes:

Rich For what it's worth, Brian Hofer builds a great trans and he doesn't require a core. He ships them right to you at the best price iv'e ever found. He can make them with trans brakes or with out, BRF trans or CZ trans.

I'm sure he can tell you what the problem is and if you can drive it this summer..

Brian is a great guy to deal with..
