I think my trans may have something wrong with it. The car "chugs" at low speeds. When it comes to a stop, the car will chug a little, almost feels like slowing driving a stick shift car at low speeds with the clutch engaed. Almost feels like the TCC is locked?

Then after driving it and going from gear into Park, the RPMs go up considerably. Almost like it is being "choked" while in gear. Out of gear the car runs fine it seems. Just wanted to see if anyone else had this issue or knew what it was.

TIA

Took the car to Jimmy's. He said the converter is locked up. Not happy for a converter I paid $1100 for and has about 6,000 miles on it. The converter is going back to Precision today. We'll see how it gets handled.

Make sure you have your pressure switches and the TCC Solenoid check. I had the same problem and it was the TCC Solenoid. It was lock up when it was unplugged at the trans. A good trans.shop can test them for you. Hope it will keep you from pulling your tranny.

The trans shop checked the solenoid. He said the converter is locked. He is sending it back to Precision. I am getting the whole trans redone anyway.
