Trans problem

My car will not shift into Overdrive anyone know what could be causeing this

My car had the same problem one night during the summer. I had to moderatly accelerate up to about 80 and then let off the gas to get it to shift into O.D. It was like that all the way home from the Jersey shore. The next day it shifted fine and has been fine since. Don't know what caused it though...

That is exactly what my car is doing I am going to change the filter and fluid and see if that helps
