Trans + Problem

I have the 3.5 maf, Trans+,extender chip set-up and turned the switch to lean it out 2% at idle and it stalls the car, If I go 2% Rich it smokes like a pig.
Not much adjustability at all, it only runs normal with the switch at "0"
What could be causing this?

Are you resetting the ECM and letting it re-learn with a 5 mile drive cycle each time you make a change???

I was unaware the ecm had to be re-set each time, Does it have to be re-set after a timing change as well?

No, not after a timing change, but after changing something as radical as the BASE fuel curve you need to reset. You also DON'T need to reset after a WOT fuel change (assuming there's and Extender chip involved).
