I am in the process of swaping my stock 200r4 trans out and replacing it with a CPT " real Art Car " Non Lockup 200r4 with a 16030 10 in convertor.
My question is the CPT Trans has no electrical 4 pin connector, so do I need to do anything with the 4 pin plug from the harness ? :confused:
 
I just bagged mine and taped it up then zip tied it to keep it from swinging around.

I just didn't know if any of the 4 wires in the connector controlled something other than the lockup in the transmission. Its nice to be able to ask for help from someone who has done it before!
 
those wires also report back to the GN ecm if the trans is in 3rd and 4th gear , you dont need the flags unless your chip uses them to change timing , fueling or wastgate (lower boost) in 3rd gear . ask your chip maker if there will be an issue. turbotweak can use another method other than the flags if you need to run split timing/fueling boost PW
