Trans won't shift

Hi all. My trans was rebuilt sometime last year by Level 10 (from the last owner). The trans shifts great in 2-3 in WOT, but it won't shift 1-2- it hits the rev limitter and starts to spit.

Now at 1/4,1/2,3/4 throttle ,the shift feels very positive and feels like the correct rpm. I don't know what kind of rebuild package was bought, so I can't elaborate. They did try to adjust it, but with no luck. From what I was told is that the problem is probably the govenor.

Can anyone comment?

sounds like someone didnt put back the original governor /valve body in the car during a repair or overhaul.shame on them .i could be wrong but i have seen this alot and the complaint is exactly as you state . sounds even more like a non gntl body WITHthe right governor. drop pan and check the code i just posted the codes in a reply to 2004R FROM 87 N/AT its rite on top of this post on board.if youneed abody we have em and we are in new york city not too far from jersey as long as you aint in cape may or camden .......LOL THERES ALWAYS UPS.
